Introduction

Are you looking to refresh your first aid, in fun interactive 2 hrs workshop?

Research shows that skills are forgotten shortly after completing a first aid course, unless the person regularly practises their skills. Repetition of first aid skills is really important. Basic life support skills can deteriorate to unsafe levels within the 3 years between doing your next course. First aid and basic life support skills need to be leant and remembered, and this first aid refresher workshop can help with that.

Prime Education have developed a series of interactive sessions where you can practice skills, ask questions, go through different scenarios, all in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. This 2 hour work shop will enable you to leave feeling competent and confident in emergency first aid when it really counts.

Delivery & Assessment:

This course focuses on interactive teaching methods with a strong emphasis on practical skills. Important theory concepts will be delivered using a variety of engaging and fun methods, and practical skills will be delivered in a safe and friendly environment. There will be a lot of demonstration and practice time during this workshop, so participants are asked to wear loose fittings and comfortable clothing.

Trainer Information:

Sarah combines 16 years of teaching experience with practical sports therapy experience to deliver a high quality teaching and learning experience. Sarah is a university senior lecturer in Sports Therapy and delivers both emergency care in sport and advanced trauma management on a Sports Therapy degree programme. She also has a wealth of experience of working on pitch side in a variety of sports and age groups, from youth through to professional levels. Sarah has delivered First Aid at Work courses to a number of different industries; office works, farmers, teachers and nurses. The combination of this experience combines quality delivery with hands on first aid experience.
